Our auditing, consulting and training services in the field of Information Security are aligned with the new requirements contained in the TISAX ® Standard (Information Security in the Automotive Industry).
TISAX® (Trusted Information Security Assessment eXchange) is an information security assessment approach based on a maturity concept and is explicitly oriented to the needs of the automotive sector. The standard is accredited by the ENX Consortium (founded in 2000), an organization that brings together the major car manufacturers, supply chain suppliers and four national associations of the automotive industry). The objectives of TISAX®:
- Define a common level of security for the automotive sector (reference tool: VDA-ISA Check List, now in ver. 6.0.3);
- Ensure the recognition of assessments to reduce costs, efforts and complexity for manufacturers and suppliers; ensure the comparability and quality of assessments;
- Share best practices and lessons learned.
TISAX® combines the previous information security rules (ISA) of the “Verband der Automobilindustrie (VDA, Association of German Automobile Manufacturers)” with Appendix A (Technical Controls) of the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Standard and the mandatory requirements in the field of privacy and data protection (GDPR).
